3T Brewery is (probably, almost definitely) one of the UK’s smallest independent breweries, born from a simple idea between two mates with almost identical names.

After a long day at work, we - Mat Jones (1T) and Matt Jones (2T) went for a pint. We found ourselves doing what many good friends do: sitting over a pint, putting the world to rights and wondering whether there might be a more interesting way to spend our days.

​

Somewhere along the way, one of us said, “Let’s make beer.” Neither of us knew how. But less than a year later, 3T Brewery was born.

​

Since then, we’ve found our spiritual home at Rockaway Park in Temple Cloud, nestled between Bath and Bristol. It feels like exactly the sort of place 3T belongs: independent, creative, unconventional and full of people making things because they believe they should exist.

​

We brew in small batches, creating beers that are full of flavour but, above all, made to be enjoyed. And with our mobile Tap Trailer, we don’t just make the beer — we take it out on the road and pour it ourselves at events, festivals and gatherings.

​

We’re still at the beginning of the 3T story. There are no big investors, no enormous brewing operation and no ambition to become another faceless beer brand. We’re growing independently, one batch and one pint at a time, with a simple belief that if the beer is good enough, people will come back for another.

​
